Inspired by the life and legacy of St. Martin de Porres, whose tireless service to the poor, the sick, and the forgotten continues to challenge and inspire, de Porres Enterprises was created to fill the gaps that systems leave behind. With a deep commitment to those who are too often overlooked, Dr. Minter de Porres develops innovative programming and housing solutions for youth ages 12 through 26, including those aging out of foster care, as well as senior citizens, bringing these two generations together intentionally through intergenerational programming that combats loneliness, builds community, and honors the wisdom that lived experience carries. de Porres Enterprises offers a comprehensive network of support including transitional housing, life skills development, employment readiness, mentorship, cognitive behavioral therapy, companionship, and resources for seniors who wish to age in place with dignity. The organization also serves as a consultant to agencies and institutions seeking human-centered strategies that are truly designed to change systems from the inside out.
